Behavioral Health Program Manager

VitalCore Health Strategies, a leading provider of correctional healthcare solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Coordinator to join our team at Sheriff Al Cannon Detention Center in North Charleston, South Carolina.
Compensation: $38-$43 per hour
The Behavioral Health Coordinator will be responsible for developing, implementing, and supervising behavioral health delivery systems that meet NCCHC/ACA standards. This individual will work closely with our Regional Manager, Site Administrator, Medical Director, and Psychiatrist to coordinate total contract services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for administrative staff regarding treatment programs and problem resolution.
- Coordinate the development and revision of policies and procedures for identifying, assessing, and providing required clinical services for inmates.
- Supervise the planning, development, and implementation of treatment programs contracted to VitalCore.
- Provide clinical and/or administrative supervision to staff of Behavioral Health Services.
- Monitor efforts to ensure timely and professional provision of clinical services.
- Assign clinical on-call duties and ensure treatment programs are integrated and staffed appropriately.
- Provide administrative support to psychiatric staff.
- -coordinate the facility's Behavioral Health Quality Improvement Program.
- Attend training and meetings as required.
Requirements:
- Doctorate or Master's degree in Psychology or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- Fully licensed (or license eligible with application pending) to practice psychology or social work in South Carolina.
- Satisfactory background investigation report.
