**About the Role:**


We are seeking a skilled Automotive Vehicle Technician to join our team at Good Brothers, an award-winning Dodge and Ram dealership. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on vehicles to manufacturer specifications.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform work as specified on the repair order in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems, including engine and electronic systems.
  • Replace or repair transmissions and fuel components as needed.
  • Repair cooling components and systems, including air conditioners and engine cooling.
  • Perform emissions inspections, safety checks, and similar state-regulated vehicle examinations.
  • Perform tire alignments and rotations.
  • Conduct 50-point inspections on all appropriate vehicles.
  • Diagnose and recommend any maintenance or repairs not previously identified by customer or service staff.
  • Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
  • Produce legible and accurate paperwork reflecting work performed.


Requirements:

1 year of experience as an automotive service technician is essential.


Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, as well as analytical skills and the ability to use a computerized repair order system.


The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity is essential.


A valid Massachusetts driver's license is required.



Working Conditions:

The Service Technician works both indoors and out, primarily in the shop and occasionally in the dealership lot. Some weekends, evenings, and holiday hours will be required.


Air-conditioned shop provides a comfortable working environment.
