Position Overview:
Texas Instruments is seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Specialist Intern. In this role, you will be responsible for executing scheduled preventive maintenance and addressing basic corrective actions on equipment as per the maintenance schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out planned maintenance tasks efficiently.
  • Prepare and gather all necessary parts in advance to ensure timely completion of maintenance activities.
  • Complete required qualifications to transition equipment from maintenance status to operational status.
  • Monitor and document critical data from maintenance activities to identify areas for improvement in preventive maintenance.
  • Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on production machinery.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize equipment failures and downtime.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Hands-on mechanical maintenance or repair experience.
  • Familiarity with basic hand tools.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in production maintenance.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical schematics and technical documents.
  • Strong interest in mechanical and maintenance tasks.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work collaboratively in teams.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
