Job Summary:
Global Technical Talent is seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for cutting and welding metal components with precision and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical prints, charts, and work orders to ensure accurate cutting and welding of metal components.
- Operate various metal fabrication equipment, including tape measures, calipers, hand shears, table shear, drill press, cut-off tools, grinders, engraver, and inductive spot welding machines.
- Use roll forming equipment and perform simple assembly of metal components to meet quality and productivity objectives.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counting to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Meet physical demands of the job, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Follow all established job procedures and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Work with limited supervision and rotate shifts as required.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous metal fabrication and welding experience preferred.
- Computer/software skills a plus.
