Position Summary
The selected candidate will take ownership of the mechanical design for turbine rear frame components, contributing to both new and existing programs. This role requires collaboration within a mechanical team and coordination with various engineering and manufacturing disciplines, including thermal analysis, mechanical systems, and production specialists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct design, analysis, and evaluation of assigned projects, ensuring adherence to engineering principles and organizational standards.
  • Acquire and apply in-depth knowledge of mechanical engineering disciplines, leveraging past experiences to inform decision-making.
  • Understand key business drivers and integrate team efforts to enhance overall project outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in design engineering roles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the aerospace sector.
  • Proficient in ANSYS APDL/Workbench with the ability to independently run simulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
  • Strong project management capabilities.
