Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Methodist Hospital Northeast. As a key member of the surgical department, you will be responsible for delivering quality patient care and ensuring a safe and efficient operating environment.

About the Role
  • You will assist with the delivery of quality surgical care, coordinating with circulating perioperative nurses during procedures, and gathering and preparing sterile supplies and equipment.
  • Planning and obtaining necessary equipment and supplies, preparing them according to manufacturer specifications, and monitoring the sterile field during procedures.
  • Initiating corrective action in case of a break in technique and preparing medications and solutions under the direction of the Registered Nurse.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a surgical technologist program, or 1 year of experience as a surgical technologist in a hospital setting, along with a surgical technologist certification (CST or TS-C).

Compensation Package
