Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care and assistance to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with daily living activities, such as ambulation, transfer, and positioning
- Monitor and record resident vital signs, weights, and measurements
- Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure seamless care delivery
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including food intake and output
- Contribute to a positive and respectful work environment
- Current Nursing Assistant Certification from the state
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Physical stamina to perform duties with minimal assistance
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. You will be exposed to infectious waste, diseases, and conditions, including TB and the AIDS and Hepatitis B viruses. You may also be subject to hazardous chemicals and emergency situations.
Physical and Sensory RequirementsThis role requires the ability to sit, walk, and stand for extended periods. You will be required to lift, carry, and transfer residents, as well as perform other physical tasks. You must be able to work independently and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies.
