Key Responsibilities- Process laboratory specimens for testing and evaluate specimen acceptability
- Enter patient and test information into the computer system
- Respond to requests for information from customers and provide excellent customer service
- Monitor test requests in the order/entry system and contribute to patient care by accurately and timely processing specimens
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Training as a unit clerk, medical assistant, medical secretary, or phlebotomist is preferred
- Coursework in biology and/or chemistry is considered
