Responsibilities
  • Assist patients in making informed diet and nutrition choices to improve their quality of life
  • Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for new and at-risk patients
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Identify specific interventions necessary to meet nutritional needs based on evidence-based guidelines and best practices
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on renal diet and fluid management
Qualifications
  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with Commission on Dietetic Registration
  • Minimum one year of professional work experience in clinical nutrition as a registered dietitian
  • Previous renal care experience preferred but not required
