PT Digital Content Writer/ Radio Host - KKBR

We're seeking a talented and versatile individual to join our team as a Digital Content Writer/ Radio Host. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for creating engaging digital content and hosting daily on-air shows. Your primary goal will be to entertain and inform our listeners, while also driving our brand's online presence.

Responsibilities

  • Host daily on-air shows 6-8 am Monday - Friday.
  • Develop and implement daily show prep.
  • Entertain and inform listeners through on-air content, digital articles, and social media.
  • Write and publish a minimum of 1 original local article per day on our website and mobile app.
  • Conduct on-air interviews, attend live events, and produce commercials.
  • Conduct live remotes and appearances, and assist in special promotions and programming activities.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of creating original written digital content.
  • Knowledge of basic FCC rules and regulations.
  • Superior knowledge of current events and CHR/Hot AC.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, handle pressures, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in operation of control board, remote broadcasting, and other related production equipment.
  • Quickly become proficient in NexGen and Adobe Audition.
  • Computer literacy in applicable programs and excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Public speaking skills and ability to interact with listeners and clients in a public setting.
  • Problem-solving ability and skill in prioritizing.
