Position Summary: This role is a direct opportunity that necessitates U.S. Citizenship and the capability to secure a Security Clearance. The position is strictly in-office, with no remote work arrangements available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive safety analyses, including Fault Tree Analysis and Functional Hazard Assessments.
  • Perform fleet risk evaluations and Weibull analyses.
  • Develop and execute reliability testing programs.
  • Conduct Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
  • Investigate root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Engage in reliability predictions, allocations, and assessments.
  • Establish and maintain procedures for maintainability programs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in safety and reliability methodologies.
  • Proven experience in system safety analysis, including fault tree development and hazard assessments.
  • Familiarity with MIL-STD-882, DI-SAFT-80102, and/or SAE ARP4761.
  • Knowledge of MIL-STD-1629, DI-SESS-81495, SAE ARP5580 (SAE ARP4754), and/or ASTM F3230.
  • Experience in constructing fault analyses per SAE ARP926 or equivalent standards.
  • Intermediate to advanced understanding of gas turbine engines and turbomachinery failure modes.
  • Comprehension of electro-mechanical components and engineering principles.
  • Ability to evaluate system designs for maintainability and create relevant work instructions.
  • Familiarity with gas turbine engine hardware and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
  • Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if necessary. Selected candidates may undergo a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information.
