About the Position

The City of New York is seeking a highly skilled Referral Specialist to join the Bureau of Early Intervention. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in processing referrals, retrieving case records, and creating electronic child case records.

Responsibilities
  • Process referrals in NYEIS/EI Hub
  • Retrieve case record information in NYEIS/EI Hub
  • Create electronic child case records
  • Prepare documents using Word and Excel
  • Prepare emails in Outlook
Requirements
  • A four-year high school diploma or its equivalent approved by a State's department of education or a recognized accrediting organization
  • One year of satisfactory clerical experience
  • Keyboard familiarity with the ability to type at a minimum of 100 key strokes (20 words) per minute
