Job Summary

At West Boca Medical Center, we are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team on a part-time basis. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to expectant mothers and their families. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring a safe and successful delivery experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized care to patients based on their unique needs and preferences
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective care plans
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes or concerns
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical advancements and best practices

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida
  • Experience in Labor and Delivery or Medical-Surgical nursing preferred
  • American Heart Association BLS certification
  • American Heart Association ACLS certification within 30 days of hire
  • NRP certification
  • Fetal Heart Monitoring certification within 30 days of hire
