Job Summary
At West Boca Medical Center, we are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to expectant mothers and their families. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring a safe and successful delivery experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualized care to patients based on their unique needs and preferences
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patients' vital signs and medical conditions, and take prompt action in emergency situations
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Document patient care and progress in the electronic health record
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 30 days of hire
- NRP certification within 30 days of hire
- Fetal Heart Monitoring certification within 30 days of hire
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of experience in Labor and Delivery or Medical-Surgical nursing
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
