About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team as a Design and Development Specialist. As part of this role, you will be responsible for designing, drafting, and troubleshooting cutting tools, jigs, and fixtures used in manufacturing.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience with CAD software, particularly SolidWorks. You will also possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve design and operational issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop cutting tools, jigs, and fixtures for manufacturing applications
  • Ensure the effective operation of tools and fixtures throughout the production process
  • Conceive and execute projects aimed at improving manufacturing processes and engineering practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve design and operational issues
  • Maintain and update documentation related to tool designs, setups, and modifications
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or a comparable field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in tool design
  • Proficiency in CAD software, with extensive experience in SolidWorks highly preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
