As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, drafting, and troubleshooting cutting tools, jigs, and fixtures used in manufacturing processes. Your expertise will enable the effective operation of these tools throughout the production process.

We are seeking an experienced Tool Design Engineer to join our client's innovative engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tool design, with a proven track record of creating and optimizing tools for various manufacturing applications.

The successful candidate will lead projects aimed at improving manufacturing processes and engineering practices. This involves conceiving, planning, and executing initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and troubleshoot cutting tools, jigs, and fixtures
  • Lead projects to improve manufacturing processes and engineering practices

  • Maintain and update documentation related to tool designs, setups, and modifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or a comparable field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in tool design
  • Proficiency in CAD software, preferably SolidWorks
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
