**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with expertise in tool design to join our team at Michael Page.

**About the Role:**

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, drafting, and troubleshooting cutting tools, jigs, and fixtures for manufacturing processes. You will also lead projects to improve manufacturing efficiency and engineering practices, ensuring effective production.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop complex cutting tools, jigs, and fixtures using CAD software such as SolidWorks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve design and operational issues.
  • Lead projects to improve manufacturing processes and engineering practices, ensuring efficient and effective production.
  • Test and refine new tool designs, ensuring compatibility with existing production processes.
  • Maintain and update documentation related to tool designs, setups, and modifications.

**Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or a comparable field is preferred, although a minimum of an Associate Degree in a related discipline is required for consideration.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in tool design, with a proven track record of creating and optimizing tools for manufacturing applications.
  • Proficiency in CAD software is essential, with extensive experience in SolidWorks highly preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel is necessary for creating reports, presentations, and managing project documentation effectively.

**What We Offer:

Michael Page offers a competitive salary range of $95,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, and a 401(k) retirement plan. Paid holidays are also included in the benefits package.
