Currently, we have an opening for a Hybrid Biller. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Note: This position requires the candidate to be onsite 2-3 days each week.

The Biller plays a crucial role in managing the billing processes for both insurance providers and patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve performance evaluations that meet or exceed expectations.
  • Independently manage and review patient accounts and delivery tickets.
  • Create and process claims through clearinghouses, addressing any rejections.
  • Work with daily billing reports effectively.
  • Teach fundamental billing concepts and manage claim-related tasks.
  • Process a minimum of 20 clean claims daily.
  • Maintain an average of 95% or better in claim audits.
  • Ensure timely completion of billing tasks.
QualificationsEducation and Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years in a healthcare setting with experience in processing claims.
  • Understanding of government health insurance benefits and reimbursement regulations.
  • Familiarity with healthcare billing software is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Home Infusion Therapy billing is advantageous.
Required Skills
  • 1 year of relevant experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and coding standards.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Preferred Skills
  • Associate degree in a related field.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
