Job Summary

New England Life Care is seeking a skilled Hybrid Biller to join our team. As a Hybrid Biller, you will be responsible for the billing of insurances and patients, ensuring accurate and timely reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve performance appraisals with 'meets expectations' or better
  • Demonstrate independence and competence in reviewing and navigating patient accounts and delivery tickets
  • Process and manage claims from clearing houses, resolving rejections and working daily billing reports
  • Teach basic billing knowledge, splitting claims, recognizing billing and account errors, and sending daily goal emails
  • Billing 20 or more clean claims per day, using payor sheets, and maintaining an average of 95% or better in claim audits
Requirements
  • 3 years' experience in a healthcare setting processing healthcare provider claims or comparative experience required
  • A working knowledge of government health insurance plan benefits and reimbursement rules and regulations required
  • Experience with healthcare patient accounting/billing/collections computer applications, including electronic claims processing, preferred
