Job Summary:

An exciting opportunity exists for a highly skilled Operating Room Professional to join Memorial Hermann Health System. As a Certified Surgical Technologist, this individual will provide proficient perioperative patient care and work closely with the surgical team to ensure seamless operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare operating rooms and equipment for procedures
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgeries
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to emergencies
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment throughout the OR
Requirements:
  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist by the National Board of Surgical Technology & Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
  • Basic Life Support certification
  • Graduate of a Surgical Technologist Program
  • 1-2 years of experience in the Operating Room
Working Conditions:

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment, standing for long periods, and lifting heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively under pressure and maintain attention to detail in high-stress situations.
