Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Emerald Health Services. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the administration of radioactive materials and the operation of nuclear medicine equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer radioactive materials to patients for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes
  • Operate nuclear medicine equipment, such as gamma cameras and positron emission tomography (PET) scanners
  • Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies, including radioactive materials and contrast agents
  • Develop and implement procedures for the safe handling and disposal of radioactive materials
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment of patients
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in the state of California
  • 1-2 years of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in nuclear medicine
  • Completion of an AMA-approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BCLS)
  • Current certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (NMTCB) or ARRT
