Purpose & Scope:

As a Registered Nurse in Medical Oncology, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring seamless transitions between care settings. Your expertise in nursing practices, patient assessment, and medication management will be essential in delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing and at least one year of experience in an acute care setting are required. Compact State Licensure in Nursing and BLS certification are also necessary.

Education:

A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required. You will be expected to maintain current certifications and stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices in Medical Oncology.

Experience:

At least one year of experience in an acute care setting is required. You will be expected to demonstrate expertise in patient care, medication management, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

Certification/Licensure:

Compact State Licensure in Nursing and BLS certification are required. You will also be expected to maintain current certifications in ACLS, PALS, and NRP, as applicable to your role.
