Support Worker

UMFS is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at the Child & Family Healing Center. As a key member of our multidisciplinary treatment team, you will provide supervision, daily therapeutic care, programming, and crisis intervention for residents.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide daily therapeutic care and programming for residents, including crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
- Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings to discuss resident progress and develop strategies for improvement
- Assist with daily living skills, such as meal preparation, laundry, and household chores
- Document resident progress and treatment plans in accordance with UMFS policies and procedures
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field and six months of experience working with youth with behavioral and emotional issues or Autism Spectrum Disorder. A minimum of two years' related experience may substitute for the degree.
