Job Overview

Lifelancer is seeking an experienced chemist to join our team in the US. As a Senior Flooring Systems Chemist, you will be responsible for developing complete floor coatings systems and optimizing their performance before launch to market.

This role will involve research and development, execution and supervision of ASTM tests, development of quality control procedures, and administrative tasks. You will work closely with the RD Director and be based in the US (location is flexible).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new concrete coating product technologies to complement existing products
  • Conduct research and product development projects independently and with technicians
  • Manage multiple RD programs and ensure successful completion
  • Collaborate with the RD Director to achieve business objectives

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in polymer chemistry for floor coatings
  • University education in chemistry (bachelor's or higher)
  • Strong technical and project management skills
  • Knowledge of raw materials interactions and performance in coating formulations
  • Experience with complete floor coatings systems (multi-layers) is highly preferred
