Job Summary

As a key member of the hotel's leadership team, the Director of Operations will be responsible for overseeing the Rooms Operations department, ensuring seamless guest experiences, and driving revenue growth. This strategic business leader will work closely with direct reports to develop and implement departmental strategies, aligning with the brand's service vision and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute operational strategies to drive Rooms operations performance, focusing on guest satisfaction, revenue growth, and associate satisfaction.
  • Lead the Rooms management team to achieve business objectives, ensuring alignment with the brand's service vision and business strategy.
  • Monitor and analyze service issues, identifying trends and making informed decisions to drive improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Committee to develop and implement property-wide strategies, delivering products and services that meet or exceed guest expectations.
  • Ensure Rooms operations meet brand standards, targets customer needs, and focuses on growing revenues and maximizing financial performance.
Requirements
  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 4 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, sales and marketing, management operations, or related professional area.
  • OR 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 2 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, sales and marketing, management operations, or related professional area.
What We Offer

Marriott offers a competitive salary range of $108,000 to $134,000 annually, a bonus program, comprehensive health care benefits, 401(k) plan with up to 5% company match, employee stock purchase plan at 15% discount, accrued paid time off, life insurance, group disability insurance, travel discounts, adoption assistance, paid parental leave, health savings account, flexible spending accounts, tuition assistance, pre-tax commuter benefits, and other life and work wellness benefits.
