The Role

We're looking for a skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our dynamic Engineering department. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing continuous improvement of system and application monitoring and automation
  • Monitoring infrastructure, systems, and application availability, performance, and capacity
  • Leading engagement with software developers and infrastructure engineers to integrate software development and delivery from inception to full operation
  • Identifying and automating manual workarounds and process improvements
  • Performing periodic on-call duty as part of the SRE team
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • Experience in Linux and Unix, or similar operating systems
  • Background in system administration scripting (shell, bash, python, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Docker, Ansible, and CloudFormation
  • Experience with Amazon S3, EC2, RDS, EFS, and/or Route 53
  • Outstanding problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills
