Job Summary

The Chief Housekeeping Officer is responsible for ensuring the overall cleanliness, sanitation, and upkeep of all passenger cabins and public areas on board our vessels. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaboration and Leadership

Collaborate with various departments to develop and implement housekeeping initiatives that meet company standards and regulatory requirements.

Housekeeping Operations

Supervise and manage housekeeping and porter crews to ensure that passenger accommodations and public areas are clean and well-maintained.

Inventory Management

Manage inventory of passenger and housekeeping supplies, including laundry and cleaning chemicals.

Laundry and Uniforms

Oversee laundry operations, including coordination with shore-side laundry services and management of uniform inventory.

Budgeting and Financial Management

Develop and manage the housekeeping budget, ensuring that expenses are aligned with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Training and Development

Implement and manage training programs for housekeeping staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.

Quality Control

Conduct regular inspections of passenger cabins and public areas to ensure that they meet company standards and regulatory requirements.

Communication and Customer Service

Communicate effectively with passengers and crew members to ensure that their needs are met and that they have a positive experience on board.

Working Environment

The Chief Housekeeping Officer will work in a fast-paced environment on board our vessels, which operate in the waters of Florida City, FL, United States. This role requires a high level of flexibility and adaptability, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
