Sleep Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Sleep Technologist to join our team at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health.
This is a unique opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art sleep lab, performing diagnostic sleep procedures for patients as ordered by physicians. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of polysomnography and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities will include laboratory set-up, patient preparation, performing and evaluating daytime and overnight polysomnograms, scoring sleep staging, and assisting in the tabulation of data from scored records. The successful candidate will also be responsible for monitoring and checking equipment for possible changes/adjustments as necessary during the study.
As a Sleep Technologist at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Qualifications for this role include successful completion of an American Board of Sleep Medicine (ABSM) accepted educational program leading to an Associate degree with an emphasis in polysomnography, or equivalent experience and documented proficiency at all competencies that demonstrates attainment of the requisite job knowledge skills/abilities required.
