About the Role

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Belton Regional Medical Center. As an MRI Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and diagnostic imaging services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and specialized magnetic resonance imaging of organs, organ systems, and blood flow studies.
  • Present images and patient information/history to the Radiologist to ensure comprehensive diagnostic reports are available to referring physicians.
  • Assist and position patients with compassion and care.
  • Start IVs for contrast injection when necessary.
  • Assess image quality and make adjustments as needed.
  • Release patients with proper post-procedure instructions.
  • Turn over and prepare rooms using aseptic technique between patients and clean/sterilize equipment.
  • Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

Requirements

  • Prefer high school graduate/graduate of an accredited school or college with certificate or degree in Radiology Technology.
  • Registered with the ARRT or ARMRIT. MRI registry within 6 months of hire.
  • BLS required within 30 days.
  • Previous MRI experience highly preferred.
