General Summary:
The Director of Institutional Effectiveness plays a pivotal role in providing essential assessment data support across the institution. This position is responsible for generating comprehensive assessment reports and dashboards tailored for decision-makers. The Director oversees the production of standard official data reports for external stakeholders and manages non-standard internal ad-hoc data requests. Additionally, the Director ensures the effective administration of various college surveys, including climate assessments and external surveys that enhance the institution's profile.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Facilitate the systematic collection of assessment data throughout the institution.
2. Develop SQL scripts to extract data from the data warehouse.
3. Serve as a backup for key reporting functions.
4. Design, analyze, and summarize results from internal and external surveys.
5. Analyze institutional data to identify trends and support strategic planning.
6. Collaborate with academic departments to resolve data validation issues.
7. Provide data support for grant applications and reporting requirements.
8. Assist in accreditation efforts and prepare necessary documentation.

Qualifications:
A Master's degree in research design, measurement, statistics, higher education, social science, policy analysis, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of five years of relevant experience. Candidates should possess strong analytical skills, be proficient in Microsoft Office, and have experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau. Knowledge of federal reporting requirements and experience in building assessment dashboards are essential. The ability to communicate complex ideas effectively and work collaboratively across diverse teams is crucial.

Clearances: Candidates must obtain current criminal record and child abuse clearances if offered the position. The required clearances include Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Records Check, and Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) Criminal Background Check.
