Join Our Team as a Division Chief of Endocrinology

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Division Chief to lead our Endocrinology Division at Allegheny Health Network (AHN). As a key member of our Medicine Institute, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the division, inspiring trust and collaboration among colleagues, and driving innovation in patient care.

About the Role
  • Lead a team of Board Certified Endocrinologists and dedicated APPs to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Partner with the Physician Chair of the Medicine Institute to enhance the division's performance, education, and research opportunities.
  • Develop and implement care process improvement plans to drive quality and efficiency.

About the Division

Our Endocrinology Division is a leading provider of comprehensive care for patients with endocrine disorders. We offer a range of services, including:

  • Large practice of Board Certified Endocrinologists and dedicated APPs.
  • Certified Diabetes Educators on-site.
  • Diabetes Chronic Care Specialty Team, including Nurse Navigator, Pharm D, Registered Dietician, Behavioral Health Specialist, and Social Services.
  • Multispecialty Pituitary Center in conjunction with Neurosurgery.
  • Monthly Thyroid Tumor Board.
  • GME Fellowship with 4 fellows.
  • Research opportunities, including clinical trials, quality improvement, outcomes, and cost-effectiveness research with access to Health Plan claims data.
Requirements
  • Mastery in the field of endocrinology.
  • 5+ years leadership experience preferred.
  • PhD/MD Graduate of accredited medical school with degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO).
  • Completion of accredited fellowship in Endocrinology.
  • Current PA MD licensure in good standing; current unrestricted DEA certificate.
