Role Overview:

The Sales Associate will be instrumental in boosting sales by engaging with customers and assisting them in selecting and processing their purchases. Responsibilities also include operating the cash register, maintaining store cleanliness, and restocking inventory.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome customers and assess their needs.
  • Manage inventory, including stocking and restocking items.
  • Guide customers and assist them in locating or replacing products.
  • Handle cash register operations and facilitate customer transactions.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
  • Train and mentor new team members through observation.
  • Assist in preparing displays, windows, and promotional events.
  • Monitor sales and maintain accurate records of transactions.
  • Update customer profiles and loyalty accounts.
  • Achieve designated sales targets.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in sales or retail is preferred.
  • Commitment to the company’s mission and sales objectives.
  • Strong knowledge of the brand and products is advantageous; willingness to learn is essential.
  • Possess a friendly, outgoing, and energetic personality.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to engage and interact with customers effectively.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including cash register operation and inventory management.
  • Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment:

Sales Associates are expected to be on their feet for the majority of their shifts, which may include evenings and weekends to accommodate peak sales times. Physical ability to lift boxes weighing up to 30 lbs is required.
