Construction Compliance Specialist
About the Role:We are seeking a highly organized Construction Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing construction site monitoring and documentation for contract compliance pertaining to wages and proper worker labor classifications.
This is a full-time position that requires candidates to be walking for long periods of time on jobsites meeting with other workers and/or clients. You will also need to be outside on construction sites during inclement weather within reason.
Responsibilities:- Provide construction site monitoring and documentation for contract compliance pertaining to wages, and proper worker labor classifications.
- Conduct worker interviews to collect demographic and wage info for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Local Hire goals per negotiated contracts.
- Communicate with local Unions to ensure that construction workers of all trades are properly registered and compensated.
- Occasional assistance with policy review and analysis of information from construction jobsite.
- Ability to work 8 hours daily Monday – Friday & additional occasional Saturday hours.
- High School / GED Diploma
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Bonus if proficient in excel)
- Ability to travel between jobsites
- 1-2 years of customer service experience
- Technical Writing Skills
- Highly organized with a strong time management skill
The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
