Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Ag Account Manager to join our team at 21st Century Equipment LLC. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for delivering tailored solutions to our customers, maintaining expertise in John Deere and other competitive equipment, and advising clients on new and used machinery, advanced technology, and value-added services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess customer needs and develop sales plans using CRM software
  • Provide expert advice on equipment selection, maintenance, and repair
  • Monitor competitors and stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments
  • Oversee equipment delivery and training, and participate in demonstrations
  • Ensure competitive offerings by staying informed on incentives and financing options
Requirements
  • Knowledge of current agricultural issues and trends
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and operate, mount, dismount, hook up, secure, and transport equipment safely
  • Ability to sit, stand, and squat for extended periods of time
  • Excellent communication and customer relationship skills
  • Ability to competently use computerized tools and reports
  • Ability to negotiate and use math knowledge
  • Ability and willingness to mentor inexperienced candidates
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business or agriculture-related field
  • 3+ years of account management or direct sales experience in agricultural farm equipment or related field
