Job Summary
The Agricultural Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient application of herbicides and pesticides to crops. This role requires a strong understanding of agricultural practices and the ability to operate complex equipment.
Responsibilities
- Mix and apply pesticides and fertilizers in accordance with safety protocols and manufacturer instructions.
- Perform routine maintenance on application equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Record and track application data to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and best practices.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve business objectives and improve operational efficiency.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in agricultural or pest control-related roles; CDL required.
- Strong knowledge of agricultural practices, pest control methods, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
