Johns Hopkins HealthCare is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Howard County Medical Center. As a RN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical center.
Job Summary:The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing direct patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team, and promoting a culture of safety and excellence. This is a full-time position with a 36-hour workweek, offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and documenting patient information.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Current Maryland RN license or licensure in a compact state that allows practice in Maryland.
- CPR certification and ACLS certification for designated departments.
- BSN degree preferred; RNs without a BSN must enroll in a BSN program within 6 months and complete degree within 4 years of start date.
