We are seeking a highly skilled Special Procedures Technologist to join our Cardiac Catheterization Lab team at TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center. As a key member of our team, you will assist physicians in performing X-ray guided cardiac catheterizations and related procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Assist physicians in X-ray guided cardiac catheterizations, cardiac and peripheral ballooning, and stenting procedures.
- Use sterile technique to prepare and assist during procedures.
- Input patient and procedure data accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain arterial and venous hemostasis post-procedure.
- Transport and position patients safely and comfortably.
- Ensure patient safety and well-being at all times.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Manage supplies and inventory effectively.
- Participate in Performance Improvement (PI) initiatives.
- Demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, and patient care appropriate to the ages served.
- Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Radiology Certification Board of Canada (RCIS).
- Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
