Key Responsibilities:
As a Recovery Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in:
  • Facilitating and supporting clients throughout their recovery journey.
  • Providing assistance and interventions aligned with each client's treatment plan.
  • Encouraging clients to build healthy relationships with peers and staff.
  • Assisting with meal preparation and supervision during dining times.
  • Participating in therapeutic groups to enhance clinical skills.
  • Conducting rounds and documenting observations.
  • Occasionally transporting clients for appointments and activities.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
  • A minimum of 2 years of post-secondary education; a Bachelor's degree in Psychology is preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in a mental or behavioral health environment is highly desirable.
  • A valid state-issued Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with a service-oriented mindset.
  • Flexibility and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
