Job Summary

The Member Services Representative will be responsible for delivering an exceptional member experience by providing top-notch customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests. Key Responsibilities
  • Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Handle all front desk-related activities, including answering phones, checking members into the system, and facilitating new member sign-ups.
  • Take prospective members on tours of the facility, highlighting the benefits and amenities of Planet Fitness.
  • Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner, escalating issues to management as needed.
  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the club, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for members.
Requirements
  • Customer service background preferred.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • A passion for fitness and health.
  • Upbeat and positive attitude.
  • Punctuality and reliability are essential.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and colleagues.
  • Strong listening skills, with the ability to empathize and problem-solve.
  • Diplomacy and effective communication are crucial in this role.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
Physical Demands
  • Continual standing and walking during shift.
  • Continual talking in person or on the phone during shift.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
  • Exposure to cleaning products and other chemicals.
