Technology and Commercial Contracts Specialist

As a member of our esteemed Contracts Practice Group within Ernst & Young's General Counsel's Office, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert advice and counsel on key legal issues related to procurement and client contracting activities. Your exceptional negotiation skills and expertise in contract law will be instrumental in shaping the legal terms and conditions of various agreements with third parties.
Key Responsibilities:
Serving as a trusted advisor by delivering practical legal guidance and counseling on critical legal risks associated with contracts.
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex contracts with external partners, including master service agreements, technology services agreements, hosting agreements, and external data agreements.
Collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders to provide comprehensive risk assessments and ensure successful project outcomes.
Requirements:
4+ years of experience as a practicing attorney with a strong background in contract law and negotiations.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence senior leaders and stakeholders.
A high degree of cultural and emotional intelligence, enabling effective collaboration and team management.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college/university and Juris Doctor from a top national law school.
