Position Overview:

The Compute Infrastructure Program Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) targets are consistently achieved within the North America Region. This role is pivotal in the planning, organization, leadership, and management of various projects to fulfill the business needs of the Compute Infrastructure Services Department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the development and execution of projects.
  • Collaborate with project sponsors to clarify project charters, scopes, budgets, timelines, deliverables, and resource requirements.
  • Communicate expectations clearly to project sponsors and team members.
  • Develop work breakdown structures for effort estimation.
  • Prepare and present project schedules.
  • Identify requirements with external partners to support project activities.
  • Track and report project milestones, providing status updates to project sponsors.
  • Develop tools and implement best practices for project management.
  • Supervise multiple vendors in collaboration with Team/Unit Managers to ensure adherence to QCD targets.
  • Contribute to the strategic direction and vision of the Compute Infrastructure Services.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
  • Promote the capabilities of the Compute Infrastructure Services Department.
  • Build relationships with IT Business Aligned Divisions and vendors.

Qualifications:

Required Experience:
  • A minimum of 2 years managing large, complex IT projects across various systems.
  • Basic understanding of computer systems installation/configuration and network administration.
  • Familiarity with IT Operations, including Open Systems and Storage Technologies.
  • Strong presentation and reporting skills for upper management and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in managing multiple IT projects simultaneously.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Desired Skills:
  • Knowledge of project management tools and software.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and communication abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Capability to document technical business requirements effectively.
  • Adept at working in complex, collaborative environments.
  • Ability to identify and propose improvements to operational procedures.
  • Strong time management skills to meet deadlines.
  • Highly motivated with a customer-centric approach.

Work Environment:

This position supports a hybrid workstyle, allowing for a blend of remote and on-site work. Travel requirements are minimal, estimated at 5%.
