Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare and serve nutritious meals to our residents and guests, ensuring a high level of quality and presentation.
  • Event Planning and Support: Assist in planning and executing special events for residents and employees, such as holiday meals and themed events.
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of food service and kitchen areas, adhering to high standards of hygiene and safety.
  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service to our residents, responding to their needs and preferences in a timely and professional manner.
  • Compliance and Training: Familiarize yourself with Edgewood's policies and procedures, including HIPAA and other relevant regulations, and participate in ongoing training and certification programs as required.
Requirements
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in food service is desired, but not required. We offer training and certification programs to support your growth and development.
  • Certifications: Active ServSafe Certification is desired, but Edgewood will provide any required training and certification.
  • Personal Qualities: Possess a passion for helping others, a willingness to train new employees, and a desire to continue learning and improving your skillset.
