Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the culinary team to foster a culture centered around Resident/Patient preferences, focusing on understanding and meeting customer needs to create an outstanding service atmosphere.
  • Implement service recovery strategies when necessary to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Adhere to scheduled meal and event timelines.
  • Take meal orders, organize trays, and deliver meals efficiently, maintaining professionalism throughout the service process.
  • Follow established cleaning protocols and perform assigned cleaning tasks diligently.
  • Comply with Infection Control policies and procedures to ensure a safe dining environment.
  • Maintain knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and Facility regulations, policies, and procedures relevant to your role.
  • Assist with additional departmental tasks or special projects as directed by the Culinary Services Facility Director or their designee.

This position does not involve supervisory duties.

Essential Skills:

  • Ability to implement service recovery techniques

Work Environment:

This position is fully on-site. You will frequently encounter temperature and humidity variations, particularly when accessing refrigerated areas or working near cooking equipment. The role is situated within an assisted living facility, and the work schedule may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
