Job Summary

Forefront Healthcare & Culinary Services is seeking a skilled Culinary Professional to join our team in Greensburg, PA. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to our residents and patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals according to standardized recipes and menu extensions.
  • Monitor food temperatures and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Supervise and assist in the storage of supplies and food products.
  • Notify the Director of Culinary of food, supplies, or equipment needs.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of cooking experience, preferably in a healthcare dietary setting.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow recipe directions and work assignments.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including during emergency situations.
  • Must be patient and tolerant toward staff, residents, and family members.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of food service experience in a healthcare dietary setting.
  • Knowledge of quantity food preparation and portioned serving.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
