Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Master Cook to join our team at Caspians Vegas LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional culinary experiences while maintaining a high level of energy and enthusiasm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and prepare workstations according to kitchen guidelines
  • Prepare, season, and finish designated recipes/menu items as assigned
  • Read orders from the kitchen display system and prepare food items accordingly
  • Wrap, label, and date all food products in accordance with SNHD standards
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
  • Regularly restock kitchen supplies and food items required for service
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Ensure all products are rotated on a first-in, first-out basis
  • Prepare special requests as necessary to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Communicate effectively with management, chefs, and service staff

Requirements:

  • One year of experience as a Master Cook in a similar work environment
  • At least three years of prep/line cook experience in a similar professional kitchen environment
  • Basic understanding of cooking techniques and proper knife skills
  • Formal culinary training or apprenticeship
  • Working knowledge of food safety and handling procedures

Physical Requirements:

  • Sedentary work involving sitting/standing
  • Light work involving moving objects up to 30 pounds
  • Medium work involving moving objects up to 50 pounds
  • Heavy work involving moving objects up to 100 pounds or more
  • Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and the like
  • Working in various environments, including tight and confined spaces
  • Bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching
  • Remaining in a stationary position for prolonged periods
  • Communicating with others to exchange information
  • Repeating motions involving the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
  • Operating machinery and/or power tools
  • Working in low temperatures
  • Working in high temperatures
  • Working in noisy environments
  • Working in hazardous conditions
  • Working in poor ventilated areas
  • Working in small and/or enclosed spaces
