Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at US Engine Valve. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair machine malfunctions, performing preventive maintenance to minimize downtime
• Locate and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical problems, ensuring equipment is running efficiently and safely
• Complete projects as directed, including machine moves, modifications, installations, and material handling
• Assist in the training of other maintenance personnel and production associates, promoting a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration
• Ensure job functions maintain or improve product quality, adhering to quality management systems and environmental standards

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school
• Advanced education (associate degree) in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred
• Prior work experience in a manufacturing setting, with a focus on electrical systems from 24V DC to 480V AC
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, ensuring accurate and efficient work

Preferred Qualifications:

• On-the-job or classroom training in hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, electronics, welding, and mechanical systems
• Experience with Hilift/Forklift operation and ability to obtain license
• Quality Management System and Environmental Systems Training
• Ability to work in a team environment, accomplishing projects in a timely manner with acceptable workmanship
