Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team at APAC Central Inc., a CRH Company. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our heavy equipment fleet, ensuring optimal performance and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of parts and components.
  • Diagnostic Skills: Analyze malfunctions and diagnose issues with heavy equipment, using technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
  • Repair and Replacement: Repair or replace defective parts and components, using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all work meets quality standards, adhering to manufacturer specifications and company policies.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including time spent, parts used, and repairs made.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certificate or degree in heavy equipment maintenance preferred.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance, with a focus on repair and replacement of parts and components.
  • Skills: Strong technical knowledge of heavy equipment systems, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
  • Certifications: Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and DOT medical card required.
