Position Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager/HR Business Partner to join our dynamic team. This role will be pivotal in delivering comprehensive HR support and strategic direction to our Engineering division. You will collaborate closely with leadership to align HR initiatives with organizational objectives, implement effective talent acquisition strategies, enhance employee engagement, and ensure adherence to employment regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and nurture strong relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to both management and staff, thereby promoting a positive workplace culture.
- Utilize HR expertise to effectively manage employee relations, investigations, and accommodations.
- Work with key stakeholders to implement HR strategies that align with business goals and cultivate a high-performance environment.
- Collaborate with talent acquisition teams to devise and execute strategies for filling open roles.
- Partner with managers to identify skill gaps and create training and development programs to enhance employee capabilities.
- Provide coaching and support to managers on performance management and conflict resolution.
- Lead HR projects and initiatives that align with business needs.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work atmosphere, boost morale, and enhance productivity.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and maintain current knowledge of HR best practices.
- Analyze HR metrics and present regular reports to leadership, identifying trends and proposing improvement strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant HR experience.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Proven ability to implement HR strategies that support business objectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels.
- Ability to navigate complex employee relations issues.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, utilizing data to inform decision-making.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently while seeking appropriate resources to ensure progress.
Desired Attributes:
Experience as a business partner with a dedicated client group is preferred.
Work Arrangement:
This position is designated as hybrid, requiring in-office presence a minimum of three days per week.
