We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical Unit on a full-time night shift schedule. As a Medical Surgical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing safe and high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient assessments, identifying psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, and population-specific needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, integrating direct and indirect patient care activities.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting empowerment and self-management.
- Participate in hourly rounds, prioritizing patient safety and comfort.
- Current NV nursing license
- Current BLS certificate
- ACLS certificate
- One year full-time or three years part-time experience in an acute care setting preferred
