Job Summary:
CommonSpirit Health is seeking a skilled Pulmonology Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a Pulmonology Nurse Practitioner, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the advancement of healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of pulmonary disorders.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab results and imaging studies.
- Develop and implement patient education programs to promote healthy behaviors and disease management.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and advancements in pulmonology.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of practice.
- Board certification in Pulmonology or related specialty.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in pulmonology or related field.
